Cookbook Courtyard - October Event

October is a truly special month! We are bringing you Pumpkin Boulevard, the ultimate Fall & Halloween festival and also honoring Hispanic Heritage Month with an incredible partnership with @wearealegria, a proudly Latino-owned business in the heart of DC!

We’ll be featuring Mi Cocina by @chefrickmartinez, a James Beard Award–winning food writer and chef celebrated for showcasing the flavors of his Mexican heritage. His cookbook highlights the extraordinary traditions, recipes, and stories of Mexico, and this celebration will be infused with the spirit of Día de los Muertos, a cherished Mexican holiday honoring loved ones who have passed, marked by food, music, color, and community.

Just like our usual Cookbook Club gatherings, attendees are encouraged to bring a dish from Mi Cocina. We’ll taste, share, and celebrate together! A day all about the joy of cooking and community!
